ZNAK Ltd. is an up-to-date high-tech company which manufactures plastic cards and blanks for identification documents.
ZNAK Ltd. was founded in 2004, and being a part of the EDAPS Consortium it made a valid contribution to the establishment in Ukraine of a new industry — manufacture of highly protected identification documents on polymeric (plastic) bases.
Technologies, developed and implemented by ZNAK Ltd. specialists allow compliance with international standards of manufacture of blanks for identification documents and bank cards.
Manufacturing premises of ZNAK Ltd. occupy the territory of 4500 sq. m. The unique custom-designed equipment was produced by renowned companies of the world. Part of the equipment of ZNAK Ltd. was manufactured in a single exemplar with the account of definite production demands. This allows the enterprise to manufacture a wide range of high-quality products with anti-counterfeit security on the level of best world specimens.
The first production was manufactured in July 2005. The company has implemented more than 300 projects of various degrees of complexity on the manufacture of documents blanks, bank and commercial plastic cards.
The full annual production capacity of the enterprise:
- 100 mln plastic cards;
- 3 mln polycarbonate pages for passports.
Being a part of the EDAPS Consortium, ZNAK Ltd. is involved in State programs on issuing travel passports of the new type, national driver? s licenses and vehicle registration certificates.
ZNAK Ltd. is the only enterprise in Ukraine that has a license of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for the manufacture of registered blanks in the form of plastic cards.
In 2007 ZNAK Ltd. issued around 60 % of payment cards of International payment systems and the National payment system, emitted in Ukraine during that year.
ZNAK Ltd. manufactures major part of cards for the National system of large-scale electronic payments (NLEPS) with the application of microprocessor technologies.
Since 2008 ZNAK Ltd. within the framework of the EDAPS Consortium project manufactures polymeric pages for diamonds passports of the world-known jewelry brand De Beers.
The enterprise is certified in compliance with all requirements of International payment systems MasterCard Worldwide and VISA Inc.
In 2008 the quality control system of ZNAK Ltd. was certified for compliance with requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2000 and in UkrSEPRO system in compliance with requirements of the State Standard of Ukraine DSTU ISO 9001:2001.
